What a wonderful experience! Modern and contemporary. We were greeted by two staff members and one was actually the Doctor. Our Maggie was covered in hives. Possibly seasonal allergies. They took great care with her. Nurses greeted her on the floor allowing for lots of sniffs. We sat in one of the alcoves. She received some medication and they asked us to wait to make sure she handled it well. It was super comfortable. Maggie got to sit on the couch/bench with me and she actually took a nap! Would bring my pet here in a heartbeat if something goes awry and can't get into my regular vet. They sent all the info over to my vet so there is a record of the visit there as well. Dr. Swire was great as well as Nurse Britiana and the rest of the crew.

I had really bad experiences at emergency vets before where I felt ignored for hours while my pup was in pain, so I was honestly scared to bring my little Bobbie in. But Dr. Julie Jones and her team made my experience completely different. They made sure Bobbie got the help he needed right away, and they took the time to answer all of my questions while I was stressed and worried. Everyone was so patient and kind with him, even when he was moving around a lot, and they never lost their cool. Bobbie is doing so much better now, and I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who helped take care of my baby. ❤️

My experience at VEG ER was great from start to finish. I brought my dog in after several days of lethargy, and everyone we worked with was kind and compassionate while also maintaining professionalism throughout a very stressful situation. The team was prompt at greeting and evaluating new arrivals, and consistently walked me through next steps, treatment options and pricing throughout our time at the clinic. While there were some long wait times during the initial visit and the cost is understandably high, I truly felt the level of care made it worth it. Since my dog ultimately needed to stay for two nights, I also received phone calls each morning from a veterinarian with updates, which was greatly appreciated. If your pet has to stay over, they welcome you to stay (even overnight with other pets) or visit as often as you want. I've had both good and bad experiences with other vets in Vegas, but would absolutely go back to VEG ER if needed. I really can't recommend them enough.
